Digital Landcare - Qld Beta Testing Project

Feral Arts is partnering with Landcare Queensland and Landcare groups from across the state in developing a PlaceStories digital storytelling system customised the specific needs of the Landcare network.   The initial testing and development in stage 1 of the project has been a partnership with Dalrymple Landcare, in north Queensland. You can view the work they have created online.   Stage 2 Beta Testing and Development    In Stage 2 Landcare groups from a number of other regions are getting involved. Stage 2 is scheduled to run for 6 months during the first half of 2008. A particular focus of the project will be to explore the potential of the PlaceStories system to play a role in monitoring and evaluation work required for National Landcare Program (NLP) funded projects.  Beta testers will be creating projects and stories  that document:    The objectives of the project How the project went in meeting its objectives  How these objectives helped meet NLP goals What lessons were learned to help improve landuse, sustainability, resilience and profitability
